Summer: Zagu time

The second Iced drink that I am enjoying these hot summer days is from Zagu

+Zagu's Strawberry Milk Tea - I loooveee milk teas and feel the same way about strawberry with only the draw back that this version of Zagu is a bit too sweet for my tonsils. Unlike with Chatime that you have to buy floaters for your drink, Zagu includes the black pearl at no extra cost, I always ask nicely if they could put nata instead with my order and they would oblige at no extra cost. Other add-ons that they can put into your Zagu drink is rice crispies, corn kernels and chocolate chips (I'm not sure if there is more).

Zagu's Strawberry Milk Tea is one of the newest addition to their wide range of flavors and I hope that it will be available not for a  limited time only.

Summer: Iced Drink by Chatime Philippines

I love drinking buko shakes and bubble tea drinks. I'll share today two that I have tried recently but please spare me I did not gather enough information about their menus and product price I was just interested on my ordered drink LOL.

+Chatime (flavor Green Tea Matcha) - I love that it is not sweet and that it has green tea in it. You can add a variety of floater or toppings like my favorite red munggo beans, they also have the usual pearl and nata crystal. What makes it unique is not just their product but the disk that they utilize to alert a customer that their order is ready for pick up at the counter, the disk lights up and vibrates making the alert hard to miss. By the way they have snacks available too in their menu to accompany your tea.

Kerv and the burnt dumplings :(

Our family loves food and Gyoza is one of them. Gyoza is a Japanese dumpling filled with ground meat, minced cabbage, onion, garlic and ginger. The dipping sauce you can buy at a Japanese specialty store or you can make it by mixing soy sauce (Kikoman is preferred) and some vinegar.

Last night we made some Gyoza; I made the dumplings, trying my best to imitate the look of store bought one while Kerv cooked them...Arrrgh he burned the first batch! Burned dumplings is bitter Kerv :-P. Well it still tasted good he said, that's his hand picking a piece to pop into his mouth!

He said he likes it crunchy!
