Summer is coming

This school year is almost over, Thank God!

School has been stressful for my kids, they are required to study more things before school ends. Almost everyday a new reviewer is given to be photocopied for them to be able to study at home! Haist! Booklets, past test papers and whatever! Truly my kids can no longer wait for school to finally end.


They can't help reminisce the summer of 2011 when we put up a kiddie pool on our roof deck. We had a small pool party for the small kids, big kids and the kids-at-heart. No, I did not...I have my dignity lol.

Too bad our kiddie pool broke and we could not buy a new one for summer 2012...my kids' only wish for summer 2013 is to have a simple pool party up on our roof deck!

Learning is a challenge that we all have to conquer.

Learning new things can be fun and a bit challenging. In life you should always welcome challenges and accept changes so that you will flourish and become a better person not for yourself but for those who believe that you can do things that they are afraid to commit to. Live to inspire others, that is the best way to make most of this life.



I have let my kids handle scissors for the first time. I was a bit anxious at first: what if they accidentally cut their fingers? I stopped myself for being overly protective tried to put a little more trust and look at their proud faces after. The roughly cut hearts are cute and very personalized for me. They have made this simple Valentine's card will all the love they could give.
